We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our long-term product development project with one of our largest partners. Founded in 2003, our company has grown into a 120-person, employee- and manager-owned organization with a stable business and financial background, serving more than 50 returning corporate clients. We develop and implement applications to address business challenges and provide long-term operational support. Our strongest differentiator is business process automation.

 

Your tasks will be...

  • Coach team members on the agile manifesto, principles and techniques, guide them to keep agreed organizational methods, continuously support the team to develop best practices to improve the way of working, foster a great community
  • Facilitate scrum ceremonies. Prepare teams for program planning, take actions based on retrospective learnings.
  • Identify problems, impediments, dependencies or other dysfunctions of the team, and facilitate their quick resolution, reach out to the wider company if needed. So basically, help them become even better problem solvers than yourself.
  • Help the agile team with refeniment, and protect them from the uncontrolled expansion of work, or unexpected scope changes. You know, when you turn around for a second, and the SOW doubles.
  • Maintain and develop relevant metrics to provide organizational visibility and help the teams see how well they are performing. Seeing well and being visible is crucial at an airline, you know.
  • Track that the teams are progressing towards team and program goals, and take appropriate actions if needed.
  • Increase agile maturity and support the creation of an agile culture.
  • Helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work.
  • Help Product Owners to build and maintain product backlog and find techniques for effective product backlog management.
  • Contribute to Scrum Master Community of Practie and help other roles to establish their own.

We need you to have...

    • Previous working experience (2+ years) in a similar role, preferably in a scaled agile organization
    • Knowledge of scrum framework/agile methodology, manifesto & principles
    • Familiarity with basic software development expressions
    • Agile mindset, being able to lead the change within the teams
    • Good communication & facilitation skills
    • Proficient English, comfortable speaking with internationals
    • Experienced Task manager tools (Azure DevOps / TFS)
    • Passionate about the use of digital technologies including the development of technology solutions
