Project & Role details:
The primary objective of this role is to take operational ownership of a newly developed mobile application that is being introduced as an extension of the Client's existing Online Card Center platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and leading the operational support model for the mobile application, ensuring its stable, secure, and reliable operation across iOS and Android platforms. This includes managing releases, coordinating application deployments through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, monitoring service availability and performance, handling incidents, and working closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams. As this is a newly established service area, the role offers the opportunity to shape operational processes, define best practices, and contribute to building the future mobile application operations capability within the organization.
This role supports the stable operation of a business-critical digital payment service in a modern, DevOps-based environment. You will join at an early stage of building a new operations capability, with the opportunity to shape processes and the overall operating model.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily operation of mobile applications and backend systems
- Monitoring and ensuring fleet card transaction processes
- Incident management and coordination
- Release and version management of iOS and Android applications
- Managing App Store and Google Play publishing and updates
- Monitoring CI/CD pipelines
- Supporting Tanzu-based backend environment operations
- Monitoring, reporting, and proactive issue handling
- Close collaboration with development and business teams
Requirements
- min. 3 years of experience in application operations or DevOps Experience in mobile application operations (iOS / Android)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in incident and problem management
- Understanding of API-based systems
- Strong communication skills
- Sense of ownership and responsibility
Nice to have
- Experience with VMware Tanzu or similar platforms
- Experience with containerized environments
